These are definitely priced accordingly, but are a good value for the price. They are very soft and floppy and the covers are made of paper. The only thing we really did not like was that there is a thick, dark, black line across the top of every page, we assume to write a name and date. It's very distracting, but if you don't like it, you can flip the sketchbook over and sketch on the other side where the page is fully blank. I would not recommend them for adults, but they are excellent for a drawing pad for kids.
